Welcome to Pre-Primary

Our Pre-Primary department consists of two classes; Pre-School 1 and Pre-School 2

Welcome to the Pre-Primary Department at Logos School of English Education where we offer a friendly, caring and stimulating environment. Children have fun learning through play, and investigation. They experience the excitement and joy of discovering new things and being able to share their learning with others.

Children are supported by dedicated staff, who enable them to grow their confidence and shape their characters, building a strong foundation for life.  Through lessons, activities and social interaction, children gain vital knowledge and skills to equip them for their learning journey.

As we come from many different nationalities and backgrounds, much emphasis is placed on language learning. Speaking and listening are crucial skills for reading and writing in all subjects.  Through our phonics and reading programme, we seek to promote and foster a life-long love of reading from the very beginning of their school journey.

We endeavour to deliver lessons that will spark curiosity and inspire children to want to know more about the world around them and develop a core base of essential skills.

We seek to give every child the opportunity to develop their full potential.

Development and Involvement

Holistic Development:

Our commitment to fostering holistic development goes beyond the traditional classroom setting. Special Events throughout the year in which children will participate, include Sports Day, Christmas Nativity Play, Educational Trips, and combined Focus Weeks with the Primary department. These events help to supplement academic learning and encourage a well-rounded development in our students.

We believe that a strong partnership between school and parents is essential for a child’s success. Regular two-way communication is encouraged, to keep up to date with all events and requirements. During the year there are scheduled parent/teacher meetings. Additional appointments can also be arranged if necessary. A twice-yearly report, based on EYFS criteria, detailing each child’s progress, is provided.

At Logos Pre-Primary we are committed to providing a stimulating and enriching experience for every child, guided by our school’s motto: Learn, Grow, Serve.

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Join us, as we not only inspire and educate, but also cultivate a spirit of service, celebrating the achievements of our young learners as they embrace the values of life-long learning, personal growth, and community contribution.

After School Care

Parents who have to collect children in Primary and Secondary school can leave their younger child in supervision club until 2.10pm. All Pre-School children should be collected at 1:30pm.

After School Club

Subject to demand, our after school club is available from 1.30-3.30pm every day during term time for Primary children. Students must be registered separately for this multi-activity club which includes a healthy snack. Students can be signed up for the year’s priority access, or request an individual session if needed. Students are usually expected to be 5 years old to join After School Club, but may be approved earlier on request.
