Our Learning Environment

Logos School is in the city of Limassol. Our school is based in the city centre and is located all in one campus. The school consists of 2 main buildings, a Pre-School area, and a sports pitch.

Some of our facilities are shared between secondary and primary. For example the library, assembly hall, computer lab and sports pitch. Primary School also use the Pre-School playground for some of their break times, while the Pre-School students are in classes.

All our classrooms are bright, air conditioned and well ventilated, suitably sized for each class, to ensure students can study in a comfortable environment.

Pre-School Area

Our Pre-School has two dedicated classrooms with their own toilet facilities. Students in Pre-School spend almost all their time in this area, completing all their learning activities either in the classroom, the outside area or the playground.

Occasionally they will visit other areas of the school for special events. Our Pre-School playground has modern, age appropriate play equipment carefully selected to allow physical development and awareness – which helps us deliver our curriculum, and helps the children have lots of fun!

Primary Classrooms

Primary Art

Our primary classrooms have ample space for learning and all our resources. Students keep their belongings in the classroom with them, and each class has it’s own ‘home-room’ where the majority of their learning takes place.

Students will also visit the Library once a week from 3rd Grade, have music in the assembly hall, ICT lessons in the computer lab, PE lessons at the sports pitch, and split into various rooms for Greek.Primary maths

Secondary Science Labs

chemistry experimentOur secondary students are taught by subject specialists in different rooms across the school. Specialist equipment and resources are available to bring learning to life. Sciences are a favourite and have an excellent track record for students achieving very well in external IGCSE, AS and A-Levels, many winning awards for Top Results in Cyprus.

From Grade 7, students have access to learning Science in one of our two labs, and Biology, Chemistry and Physics are very popular choices in the upper High School when these classes become optional.

Computer Lab (ICT Suite)

Our students take their Information & Computer Technology (ICT) / Computing lessons in the school computer lab. Primary students are taught a range of topics on the computers here by their class teacher including coding, use of Microsoft software, online safety, data handling, touch-typing and the basics of networks and hardware.

Secondary students continue their study with more lessons per week and cover more advanced areas of software usage and coding languages in a project based curriculum that stretches their ability and builds real-world skills. They also have opportunity to build skills in computer aided design using Sketch-up. Students in upper secondary have the option to continue in ICT IGCSE and AS by Cambridge International.

Sports Pitch

Sports Pitch

Our Physical Education (PE) lessons take place at the sports pitch located opposite the school. Students in Primary and Secondary school have their lessons here and have access at ‘Break’ to relax and burn off some energy. There are toilet and changing facilities on this location.

We work with Ambassadors football academy who provide after-school coaching and matches for Primary students at the pitch. Coaches collect students at the end of the school day, and parents can collect them at the end of training sessions.

The Sports pitch is also the location for many fun school events including sports day, our annual book character parade, and many Secondary inter-house competitions.
